Markelle earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998 (Graduated Cum Laude), and found her niche as a Realtor with REMAX Elite, Chandler, Arizona, in 2000. As a Realtor, she acquired the skills of gaining new clients through referrals, assisting home buyers, and managing listings. She earned the ABR designation, currently holds the GRI designation, and has a real estate license in Arizona. In 2006, Markelle created a company to fill the niche that was missing for her as an agent. She combined her talents of communication, marketing, and organizational skills to develop a customized Realtor Assistant business. In 2008 Markelle and her family relocated to the Charlotte, North Carolina area, where A Virtual Genie continues to grow and service Realtors nationwide.
Pam Wilder, Executive Virtual Assistant
In 2008, A Virtual Genie gained the invaluable assistance of Pam Wilder. Pam is familiar with the local market as a former Realtor in Charlotte and York County, SC. She has an in-depth understanding of transaction management, web site maintenance, database systems, Microsoft Office, and more. Her ability to grasp new concepts, combined with her attention to detail gives our company an unparalleled edge in the service we provide. She is a full time consultant for A Virtual Genie, and her skill set enables us to offer a wide variety of custom fit services to our clients.
Darlene Cook, Marketing Consultant
Darlene is a veteran Genie, and has endured numerous software upgrades, assignment changes, and incredible growth. She is in charge of managing our Intranet so that all Realtor files stay up to date and tasks get completed on time. She holds an Associates Degree in Automated Office Management, and she is a whiz at learning new applications and has set a record for completing work in the shortest amount of time possible! Darlene also has an extensive banking background, which has given her tremendous experience using technology to multi-task.
Independent Contractors
Markelle, Pam and Darlene make up our core company. If you have changes or issues that require direct contact with someone in our company, you will NOT be forwarded to a random customer service representative. You will speak with Markelle, Pam, or Darlene. This means that your requests/issues will be solved in the least amount of time, with maximum efficiency.
We have access to a large network of contractors who work on projects on an hourly basis. These contractors have been interviewed, screened, and reference checked, and trained by Markelle. Our core staff directs tasks to them directly, so there is zero room for confusion or error. These contractors are the bricks and mortar of our business, and have been trained on all aspects of assisting Realtors. None of these contractors are based overseas, we all live, work, and reside in the United States of America. We understand the work ethic that is required to keep a business afloat, and we apply that code of ethics to each and every one of your projects.
